Bad Complaint

On December 21 and 22 I received many phone call from David Maus Toyota but on the 22nd the Big Boss name Mark Dalton call me to apologize for the treatment that they gave me when I when in to purchase a Camry, he ask me what will it take for them to get me that new car i said to him that i want it a 2018 Camry for $250 a month lease for 36 moths with 15,000 miles a year and he said i will do even better, i will do that plus no money down and we will pay off the remainding balance of your 2015 Camry lease that will be around $1,500 and i sad great my hopes were high and the sales person call me that day to work everything for me, she ask me what color do i like to have a said pearl but she said that they do not have it that to get it in that color will be an extra $300 and she said how about silver or black or any of the other colors i sauid to her that i do not like dark colors and finnaly agree in a white camry, she said great so she found a LE white Camry and she toll me to go the next day to do the final papaer work come that next day she call me i have bad news and good news for you, i said go ahead with the news, she said your white camry was sold and we do not have any other one and the second new was that theycan't do $250 they can do it for $275 and 12,000 miles a year, i said no rpblem just find me a white Camry and you have a deal, well days past and they call me on Thursday December 28th at around 6:45 pm thta they have the white Camry 2018 and if i want it to come in that night but they mention that they had lots of clients to attent so it will be a long night by the time we come out of the dealer, i said to her lets do on Friday morning December 29th at 11 am, here is Friday morning i got a phone call around 10:15 am from Dareline to said if i was ready to pick up my car and i said to her that we were in our way and i was eating breakfast around 10:40 am and i will be there around 11:15 am, when i was eating breakfast at a restaurant a person by the name Mark Dalton from finance to tell me that they made a mistake on the numbers and that he will call me back with the exact numbers for my monthly payment, he call me 5 mintes later to tell me that the new payment will be $350 intead of $275 look at that diference, promises after promises and phone call after phone call, very umprofeccional of a dealer and a lack of comunication between managers, sales person and finance staff. I was so upset that I told him that is the way you all run this, very disappointed and I will not recommend anyone to this dealer, what have I done to deserve this treatment form a car dealer and their staff.

I think this should be reported to the BBB and Chanel 9 news.

The worse part of this is that the poor salesperson Angie and Christian did everything they could to get earn my business but the rest of the staff need lots of training. Thank you, Angie and Christian, for trying, do get a job somewhere else.

They scratched up my new truck and don't want to fix it

I took my truck in under warrenty and ended up paying 300.00 . I bought my truck December 28 2017 and on Febuary 14 i took it in under it warrenty to have them check out a noise , it ended up costing me 300.00 .

Before i picked it up they sent it through there car wash but left the parts in the bed , the car was picked up the part and raked it all down the side scratching it and putting 3 minnor dents in it . Know there trying to say it was there when they did the inspection before they took the truck . When i went to pick it up i inspected it and seen all the scratches and pionted out to management even though they signed a paper saying they would fix it know they are telling me they will not .

I have also called and ask to speak to Ronny Whitlock about the General Manager they gave me his email and said he always answers them and i have not herd from him at all . I guess know it time to go to court.

Recently purchased a new, 2017 Toyota Tundra 5.7ltr., 8Cyl. 4x2 Max/Crew Cab.

The salesman who had worked with me on the purchase was Mr. Bernie Lacy.

I found Mr. Lacy to be polite, knowledgeable, experienced and professional. But it was the Closing Manager, Mr. Jonny Sabol, who had ultimately closed the deal.

But I was quite disappointed that during the explanation of the warranty protection plan, it appeared to me as though all the coverages were inclusive with the purchase of the vehicle. It wasn't until I had received a phone call the very next day, from the Fairwinds Credit Union, the warranty that was so elaborate was do to the fact, it was an Extended Warranty which I did not have any knowledge of it at the time of the sale and closing. The dealership had basically, added on an additional $2,500.00 in fees for the Extended Warranty that I had no desire to purchase. After returning to the dealership the day after purchase, I was able to have to Extended Warranty Cancelled.

And since it was a purchase through an outside vendor, my credit union hasn't received the funds that were to be returned to the credit union; so an adjustment can be made on the balance owed on my new truck. According to the vendor, the check was sent to Fairwinds Credit Union on this past Mon., Oct. 9th, 2017. It was being sent from an office in the State of Kansas.

So, hopefully, the credit union should have the check in their possession by this Fri., Oct. 13th, 2017. Regardless of the fact, I was pleased with the salesman. But I was not as pleased with the way the closing manager had handled the final steps in order to close the deal.

Though, I have good intentions of wishing to retain my new truck for many years. I'm uncertain as to whether I would consider purchasing another vehicle in the future or refer any relatives, friends, neighbors or acquaintances to purchase a vehicle from the Davis Maus Dealership. Sincerely, T.

Maus nissan in crystal river

I purchased a 2016 Nissan pick up truck with 1500 miles on it. During the sales pitch, I was told that the vehicle had a clean Car Fax report.

So I took them at their word. I washed the truck a few days later and discovered a dent on the roof, so I returned to the dealership but they refused to fix the dent. My issue with them is this: they willingly withheld information from Car Fax but then they used the Car Fax report to further the sale. They can not be trusted!

Manipulating the Car Fax is tantamount to lying. I took the truck to a local body shop who estimated the repair to be $255….So for a couple of hundred bucks, they knowingly lied, to consummate a deal.

They screwed me and will *** over too. Buy Elsewhere.

David Maus Toyotao- 4Runner Collision Repair

I brought my 4Runner into the collision center to repair damage from a rear end collision. I brought it there so they would use factory parts and for the warranty.

They replaced the rear tailgate. It is now rusting from the inside. I spoke to manager Ed Miller at the collision center who determined what the cause of the rust was. There is a foam insulator bonded to the inside of the tailgate that apparently is trapping water and, as I see it, is a defective design.

The vehicle is parked in a garage at home and at work. It usually only sees rain when we are driving. Upon reading the warranty, it states that rust from the inside is not covered. Ed suggested for me to try to get Toyota to pay for it.

I tried and they will not. I then had to call many times to find out if Davis Maus was going to fix it. Most times I left a message and did not get a call back from Ed Miller. Occasionally I would get a call back from the office staff.

After getting tired of no return calls from Ed Miller, I spoke to the collision center manager, Charlie Smith, who told me that Ed does not have to directly call customers back. I am left with a rusting tailgate.

Both David Maus and Toyota will not repair or replace the tailgate. I believe David Maus and/or Toyota should have shown good will and fixed this.

A bunch of lyres. Don't waste your time

Went in to buy a car. could not work a deal out on my trade so we left.

This was on a tue. On fri i got a text from the sales man that said he was able to get to my # i wanted on my trade so i said great ill be in this afternoon. We drove an 1 hr again to the dealer. When we got back to the dealer and went in the #s where exactly what they where on tue.

What a waste of time for both party's in voled.

Needless to say we did not end up buying a car from them. Will never go back to that dealer again.

Never going there again

My husband and I went to this location to buy a brand new car. We brought my car to trade and was insulted on what they would give me for my trade in, and the man that came out to talk to us about the price continued to ask us why did we choose to go to their location, couldn't believe we would drive so far and kept making these face of surprise?? Also kept saying go to car max over and over??? I'm so confused on the reason why someone would just throw away a sale to a competitor?? Our sales guy was great, but the other guy that came to "talk to us" blew everything for me!! I would never recommend coming to this place again!!!

Poor customer service and poor quality body work.

I tried to get an appointment today for Saturday. They said a service adviser would call me back.

No one did. I also had body work done in the body shop. The inner fender well is falling loose. I asked them to fix it the last time in for service.

They said I had to make another appointment with the body shop, when five minutes with a clip and screw driver would fix it. Now two fasteners are gone. and a third has broke the hole where the fastener was. This is poor quality work.

They did body work on my wife's RAV4 and the paint was not all polished out and not quite the right color. Again low quality work.

MJ helped us out on the lot. He was great at judging our car buying needs.

We were hoping to get a sales person who was not so pushy and we got that with MJ. We went around to several other dealerships but they were all the same. People don't care that you have other bills to pay they just want to sell cars. Well we have two kids in college and limited funds.

MJ seemed to understand that and focused on getting us a great deal.

I would recommend David Maus because we got excellent service last month and my husband agrees.

David Maus Toyota Scam

The financial department would pain a beautiful picture about this service they are selling call Zertek. It supposed to protect your pain, so a clear code is apply to the care every 6 month so you be under guarantee and you don't have to be on top of it the service department would be making sure they call you on time to keep you under guarantee.

Once the service department get you off guarantee, because they didn't call you make the appointment on time, they would proceed to damage your car by applying the Zertek with your car dirty full of sand. This damage the pain and the car pain start to peal. So what do we do, oh they said make a claim to Zertek to see if they pay for the repair, and you get Veronica. Veronica would not answer your calls, and would not submit your claim until you are persistent with her, so she can tell you that you have been deny.

Then the chase start from department to department and no one is accepting their fault, but they did said "I will call you back" to never call. This Zertek is an scam clearly formulated from the desk you been offer the service to the service and to the collision.

They sell this for $566 and then the repair to your car of $1,252 or more.

Scam - car fax falsehood

I bought a car there 3 weeks ago and they told me the vehicle had not been in an accident according their Carfax report they presented me. When in actuality; they lied as there was a DeBary Toyota Collision sticker on the driver's door jam.

Not to mention that the car's engine was pristine for an 11 year old car - something's not adding up. I love the Matrix by Toyota, so I let it slide. I already have a '06 Matrix in my driveway and swear by it. Not going back to Maus ever again.

The staff was lukewarm at best, the minute I started asking tough questions - they blew me off. I didn't appreciate that too much. Oh well, we all overlook things in life. Things not worth stressing over.

I got the car I wanted and needed. That's all I have to say about D.

Seems a repair sticker on a door jamb is a fairly simple thing to check for.

Not every accident is reported to carfax, the dealer has no way of knowing this unless it was reported. They did not originally own this vehicle, and they do disclosure that not everything is reported to carfax when they give you that report.

Hey i bought one brand new vehicle and in 4 years the clear coat is coming off so badly and no one can help me ..i understand warranty especially manufacturer but whats going on with my clear coat is wrong and it shouldnt be happening at all ..i believe u guys should fix it .. its gotten worst since i first came to your colluson shop and got told he was working on it and its 5 months later and hes gone and now its spread everywhere just abour on my car ..this sucks .i looking into getting a lawyer
